About Us

​​​​​​Kentucky Correctional Industries was established in 1954 and have since provided goods and services for the private industry as well as the citizens of Kentucky. 

Currently Correctional Industries is comprised of 15 separate types of industry, maintained in 8 correctional facilities across the state.  

Correctional Industries employs more than 700 inmates teaching job skills to reduce recidivism and to make these​ individuals more productive members of society.

Kentucky Correctional Industries Currently has the Following Programs:

​Printing Division, License Plate Plant, Metal Plant, Recycling, Welding, Braille Services,

Portion Pac Services, Soap Plant, Office Furniture Production, ​Coupon Plant, Garment Plant,

Digital T-shirt Printing, Modular Office Systems, Signage, and Mattress Plant.​
